1904 – 2004

NORWAY – Arlene Marie Farr, 99, of West Paris, died in Norway Feb. 4.

Born in Pittsfield, N.H., April 26, 1904, she was one of 11 children born to Albert and Carry Munsey Rogers.

She had worked at the Penley Corporation for over 50 years and was a member of the West Paris Grange for over 60 years. She was a member of the First Universalist Church of West Paris and had been active in the choir for many years.

She was the West Paris oldest citizen cane holder.

Survivors include one son, Raymond Farr, Jr. of West Paris; two daughters, Ruth Hazleton and Maxine Cram, both of West Paris; nine grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 19 great great-grandchildren, with another on the way; and 25 nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Marion Farr and her ten siblings, Norine Ring Kujala, baby George Rogers, Raymond Rogers, baby Marion Rogers, George Rogers, Gladys Mitchell Millett, Mildred Brooks, baby Roland Rogers, Artland Rogers and an infant who died at birth.
