1943 – 2004

RUMFORD – Louise J. Waterhouse, 60, of Katie Lane, Mexico, died at Rumford Community Hospital Tuesday morning, Feb. 10.

Born in Rumford, May 17, 1943, the daughter of Louis and Jennie Tamborino Simboli. She was educated in Rumford schools graduating from Stephen’s High School in 1961. On May 21, 1972, she married Richard H. Waterhouse, he died Jan. 27, 1997.

She worked for several local doctors’ offices and later for the Department of Human Services as an office assistant retiring in July of 1999. She was a member of the Mexico Congregational Church. She was a selectwoman, and served on several municipal boards in Mexico. She was involved in community service,

and volunteered at the Food Cubbard at the Mexico Congregational Church.

She was an avid beano player, and enjoyed crafts, sewing, and crocheting.

She is survived by her children, Betty A. Yeaton of Mexico, Timothy Simboli of Woodsville, N.H., Joseph Waterhouse of Rumford, David Waterhouse of Andover, and Alice Reed of Mexico; grandchildren, Dan, Eva, Benjamin, Joshua, Jill, Heidi, Adam, Megan; sisters, Marie Gallant of Mexico and Carol Bellegarde of Rumford.
