1948 – 2004

LEWISTON – Maureen E. “Chicken” Gauthier, 55, of Woodside Drive, Lisbon died Tuesday, Feb. 10, at Central Maine Medical Center following a short illness.

She was born in Somerville, Mass., on Oct. 1, 1948, the daughter of Richard T. and Elizabeth (Devine) Gauthier.

She loved to paint, play cards, ceramics and had a great love for dancing and music.

She is survived by her daughter, Heather and her husband Bryan Reed of Lewiston; one grandson, Ian Reed also of Lewiston; her caregiver of 10 years, her niece, Donna Sawyer; four brothers, Bob and his wife Laurie Gauthier of Lewiston, James and Frank Gauthier both of Lewiston, Tim Gauthier of Westbrook; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; and three sisters, Anne Sawyer, Marion Vallee and Barbara Baril; and three brothers, Richard Jr., Michael and William Gauthier.
