1921 – 2004
FARMINGTON, Conn. – Muriel R. Burnham, 82, of 75 Melton Drive, East Hartford, passed away Sunday, Feb. 15, at John Dempsey Hospital.
Mrs. Burnham, wife of the deceased Milton E. Burnham, born in Auburn, Sept. 2, 1921, daughter of Wilfred and Desneige (Charest) Raymond. She was a graduate of Edward Little High School and attended Bliss Business College in Lewiston. She was a member of Saint Christopher’s Church of East Hartford, Conn., since 1962.
To her family she was a fun loving, giving person, best friend as well as a loving mother. She was often heard stating, “I’ve had a long full life and three wonderful children who love me”. While living in the Hartford area for almost 50 years, she enjoyed her family summer vacations in Old Orchard Beach, and her annual “snowbird” trips to Florida.
She is survived by two sons, Gregory Milton Burnham of Burbank, Calif., Christopher Raymond Burnham of Canton, Conn.; a daughter, Susan Muriel Burnham of East Hartford, Conn.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two nephews.
