NEW YORK CITY – The International Artexpo will feature the works of the studioELL Fine Arts Center of Lewiston during its 2004 show in the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City from Feb. 26 to March 1.

The studioELL collection features the oil paintings by Lynda G. Leonas Legare. Her “Portraits of Four Seasons,” a series of conceptual oil paintings created using gardening tools to accentuate the artist’s impasto brush techniques, will be unveiled at New York show. She will demonstrate her unique painting techniques for trade professionals on Feb. 26.

Legare has been creating oil paintings using tools such as rakes, hoes, shovels and pitchforks, as well as other household items since 1998.

Legare also will display a series of fantasy watercolors and traditional sculpture at the studioELL booth at the Artexpo.

“We are pleased to have the work of studioELL Fine Arts Center with us this year,” says Joyce Jamison, Artexpo show director. “People from all over the world will be in attendance to view the wonderful works of art from thousands of artists who have been helping Artexpo define popular art for more than 25 years. Among our numerous attendees will be galleries, art dealers, interior designers, distributors and general art enthusiasts looking for great pieces to collect or to use to decorate their homes or offices.”
