1941 – 2004

RUMFORD – Lydia Q. Theriault, 62, of Franklin St., Rumford, passed away Sunday evening, Feb. 22.

She was born in Manilla, Phillipines on Aug. 1, 1941. She attended Manilla schools and graduated from Marigold College. She married Russell J. Theriault on Oct. 26, 1961. She retired from Southern New England Telephone Co. as a computer analyst.

After moving to the Rumford area with her husband, she owned and operated the Market Boutique. She was a member of St. Athanasius, St. John Parish and was an officer of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary, LeParesseux Snowshoe Club, Mah-jongg Club. She enjoyed dancing, shopping, reading.

Survivors include her husband of Rumford; a daughter, Sandra (Theriault) William Harwood of Guilford, Conn.; a son, Timothy M. (Melissa) Theriault of East Haven, Conn.; nephews, Ron Theriault and Dennis Theriault both of Rumford; and her toy poodle, Pooh Bear.
