1960 – 2004

LEWISTON – Louise L’Heureux, 43, left us to join the choir of Angels and sing the praises of our Lord and Savior on Monday, Feb. 23, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Lewiston, Dec. 21, 1960, the daughter of Norman and Charlotte Veilleux L’Heureux. She lived in this city all her life and was educated in the Lewiston and Auburn Special Education Center.

Since an early age, she suffered from Cerebral Palsy. Even with this disorder, she loved life, laughter, music, games and especially winning.

For many years she was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Parish and worked at Nezinscot Guild in Turner and the Social Learning Center in Lewiston. A resident of d’Youville Pavilion for close to nine years, she was known by employees, residents and visitors as a loving young lady who loved people and who was also loved by all.

But most of all, she loved her parents and her brother, Charles. She enjoyed spending weekends at home and on occasion going out to eat at a restaurant.

She will always be remembered as a smiling young lady with her left arm extended to greet everyone who came close to her. She will be missed by all.

She is survived by her parents; her brother, Charles; and her best friend, David Turcotte; and many aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces.
