1956 – 2004

LEWISTON – Michael J.”Mike” House, 47, a resident of 251 Mechanic Falls Road, Poland died unexpectedly Tuesday morning, Feb. 24, at Central Maine Medical Center.

He was born in in Lewiston on Dec. 18, 1956, the son of Grover and Leona (Essency) House. He attended Poland schools, and was a 1975 graduate of Edward Little High School. He began as a truck driver for several construction firms until his disability two years ago.

He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, boating, ATVing, snowmobiling, and camping. He also enjoyed his family and friends and his faithful companion, “Rudy”.

Survivors include his wife, the former Cindy Harlow whom he married April 16, 1977 of Poland; one son, Travis of Poland; one brother, Grover Jr., and his wife, Patty of Lewiston; one half-brother, S. Wayne Black of Riverview, Fla.; one sister, Jo-Ann Belanger of Poland; and many nieces and nephews.
