DURHAM – Eileen Babcock, chairwoman of the Durham Republican Committee, has issued an invitation to all registered town Republicans to caucus at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, at the Durham Elementary School. The main purpose of the biennial caucus is to allow registered voters enrolled in the Republican Party to elect delegates and alternates to the Republican State Convention. The Convention this year will be held May 14 and 15 at the Augusta Civic Center. Other business of the caucus will include the organization of the local committee and the nomination of members to the Androscoggin County Republican Committee.
