INDUSTRY – A New Vineyard woman is hoping somebody saw who vandalized her daughter’s car while it was parked Sunday at a church lot.

Mary Ellise West said the vehicle had both outside mirrors ripped off. The 2000 Saturn was scratched, the hood dented in two places and the sidewall of a tire was punctured.

The car was parked at the West Mills Church lot while her daughter Christina and others were inside the church.

The incident is believed to have happened between 1 and 2 p.m.

Franklin County Sheriff’s Deputy Sandy Burke is investigating the vandalism but was unavailable for comment Monday.

West said the damage is expected to exceed $500.

She’s asking anyone with information to call the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department at 778-2680.
