FARMINGTON – Courts around the state are scheduled to be open reduced hours the week of March 29 to April 2.
Due to staff shortages Maine’s district courts, superior courts and Supreme Judicial Court will open for business at noon during that week.
The purpose of these hours is to allow court personnel to catch up on important work, according to a notice hanging on the door of the Farmington District Court.
“We apologize for any inconvenience,” the notice states, “and thank you for your cooperation.”
