1904 – 2004

SOUTH PARIS – Dorilia Anita Lapointe, 99, formerly of Lewiston, died Monday, March 22, at Market Square Health Care Facility.

She was born in Jay on Nov. 8, 1904, the daughter of Adelard and Claire Berube Lapointe. Miss Lapointe moved to Hoboken, N.J., where she resided most of her adult life. Following retirement, she returned to Lewiston to be near her family.

She is survived by three brothers, Arcade Lapointe of Waterford, Mich., Leger Lapointe of Lemon Grove, Calif., and Florien Lapointe of Montello Heights in Lewiston, formerly of Jay; a sister, Gratienne Lapointe of Montello Manor in Lewiston; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by five brothers, Emerald, Aurele, Ernest, Omer and Eddie; three sisters, Emelienne Lefebvre, Rosilda Blais and Leonie O’Brien.
