AUBURN – The management team of the Arby’s restaurant on Center street has received an Operations Excellence Award from Arby’s Inc. The Arby’s restaurant is owned and operated by James Raffel of Scarborough.

The Operations Excellence Award is for performance in operations and product quality, as measured by the Basic evaluation. That is an Arby’s administered assessment of how well a restaurant is doing on food quality, customer service, cleanliness, safety measures and employee efficiency. The team received 95.4 of a possible 100.

“We’re extremely proud to have received an award that recognizes our commitment to stellar operations and customer service,” said Raffel. “Our teams are dedicated to providing the highest level of quality to every customer we have the opportunity to serve.”

The award program was introduced systemwide to all Arby’s restaurants in January 2002. Each winner of the Operations Excellence Award receives a commemorative plaque and recognition among the Arby’s system of restaurant managers.
