CASTINE – A “Post Up” weekend training camp for next season’s high school boys post players is scheduled for June 25-27 on the campus of Maine Maritime Academy. Instruction will include the many aspects of post play, including offense, defense, transition, decision making and conditioning.

Cost is $140. Day rates and special coach’s rates are available.

Sports camp planned
FARMINGTON – An All Sports Camp for boys and girls ages 8-15 will be hosted by the University of Maine at Farmington, July 5-9.

This will be both a day and overnight camp that will introduce young people to a wide range of athletic activities (soccer, softball, basketball, flag football, tennis, golf, volleyball, Ultimate Frisbee, lacrosse, rugby, etc.) and help develop a variety of skills. The focus will be on cultivating healthy attitudes about sports and competition.

Camp fee is $225 for day campers and $375 for overnight participants. An additional $25 fee will be charged for applications received after May 1.

Grid clinics scheduled
BYFIELD, Mass. – The 2004 Northeast Quarterback/Receiver Football Clinic dates have been announced. The clinics, to be held at Governor Dummer Academy, will take place July 9-11.
