TOPTON, Pa. – Rev. Homer R. Studenroth, 84, formerly of East Main St., Kutztown and New Gloucester, died April 5 in the Lutheran Home at Topton, Pa.

He was born in Lititz, Pa. a son of the late Howard and Jeanetta (Redcay) Studenroth. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lois Coulter Studenroth in 1979, and his second wife, Lorraine Davenpurt Studenroth in 1998.

He was a minister at the New Gloucester Bible Church, New Gloucester, retiring in 1986. He was associated with Village Missions for 27 years.

He is survived by a son, Rev. John Studenroth of Kutztown, with whom he had resided; a daughter, Anne Evensen of Furguay-Varina, N.C.; four grandchildren and five stepgrandchildren, Rachel Weeks, Diane Morrison, Ronald Davenport, Daniel Davenport and John Davenport all of Maine.
