AUBURN – Ryan Turgeon had a strong day on the mound, giving up only one hit and striking out 14, as St. Dom’s dominated Gray-New Gloucester with a 7-0 win in baseball action Monday.

Jim Mayo smacked a double for the Saints (1-0). Mayo and Jack Lavoie each went 2-for-3 in the contest.

The Saints’ solid defensive efforts were led by Turgeon on the mound, and Brandon Gervais in the field helped to solidify the Saints’ errorless win.

BRUNSWICK- Lewiston’s pitching was stifling as Luke Potter gave up four hits and walked no one in five winnings, pointing Lewiston’s 8-3 victory over Brunswick Monday.

Tyson Morgan was the only repeat hitter for the undefeated Devils.
