• John P. Daly, 53, of Auburn lost control of his vehicle and struck a Central Maine Power Co. pole at 7:45 p.m. Thursday on North River Road. Damage to Daly’s 1998 Toyota was estimated at $4,000; to the CMP pole, $1,500.
