CANTON – Mr. and Mrs. Dean S. Read of Bar Harbor are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Rachel M. Read, to Adam B. Chamberlin, son of Arthur Chamberlin of Canton and Sue Howe of Cottonwood, Ariz.
Miss Read is a graduate of Winthrop High School and the University of Maine. She is employed at UnumProvident in South Portland.
Mr. Chamberlin is a graduate of Telstar High School and is employed at Spring Harbor in Westbrook.
A Sept. 4 wedding is planned in Boothbay Harbor.
