LITCHFIELD – Although many area golf courses aren’t even open yet, The Meadows Golf Club has already yielded a hole-in-one.

Jon Fillmore aced the No. 15 hole Saturday. He used a 6-iron on the 138-yard par 3 to notch his ace. Playing partners were Darren Jensen and Jim Dorrington.
Wilson Lake
WILTON -The Wilson Lake Country Club will open Friday, April 23 for walkers only. Weekday play begins at 7 a.m., and weekend play at 6:30 a.m. Tee times are not needed until June. Spring rates will be in effect.

The “Kick-off Scramble” has been rescheduled from April 25 to Sunday, May 2 at 9 a.m. Members are asked to pre-register in the Pro Shop.
