MINOT – Bridget Duval, 15, of Minot, was crowned Junior Miss New England at a recent pageant in Worcester, Mass.

She competed in the junior age division consisting of young women age 13 to 15 from New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York and Connecticut.

Duval participated in evening gown, interview, talent and modeling and was judged on poise, personality, appearance and stage presence.

Winning the regional title allows Duval to compete at the national level in the Miss U.S. of America pageant in August at Foxwoods Resort, Conn.

Duval is a sophomore at St. Dominic Regional High School in Auburn where she is involved in the Drama Society, National Honor Society and Music Ministry.

She is the daughter of Neil and Sue Duval of Minot.
