LIVERMORE FALLS – The New Norland Grange will hold its annual Community Citizen meeting with an open session at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the hall in East Livermore.

Grangers have chosen Mizpah Circle of King’s Daughters and Sons as this year’s recipient of the Community Citizen award.

This is the first meeting of the season to be held in the hall and the public is welcome to attend to honor the Circle and to learn more about grange.

Members have placed a display in the window at Sturtevant and Ham, showing several of the organization’s activities.

Officially known as the Order of Patrons of Husbandry, Grange was organized in 1867 to assist farmers. It has grown since then to include people from all walks of life and its halls are used for many activities.
