Special Olympics
AUBURN – The next regional meeting of the Androscoggin Special Olympics is scheduled for Thursday, April 29 at 4:30 p.m. in Room 106 at Edward Little High School. All registration materials for upcoming Special Olympics events will be available.
The main goal of Special Olympics is to provide athletic training and positive competition for children and adults with mental retardation.
Upcoming Special Olympics events include the following: April 30, State Swim Meet, Bates College, 8 a.m.; May 7, Regional Track Meet, Bates College, 9 a.m.; June 11-13, State Track Meet, University of Maine.

FH clinics planned
BYFIELD, Mass. – Applications are now being accepted for the 2004 session of the Northeast Field Hockey Day and Resident Clinic to be held July 11-14 at Governor Dummer Academy.
These summer clinics are designed to meet the needs of beginner, intermediate and advanced field hockey players in Grades 5-12.
