The Maine Wheelers wheelchair basketball team recently wrapped up another winning season and is now looking for more disabled people who want to play basketball.

Composed of a diverse group from around the state, the team is a member of the National Wheelchair Basketball Assocation and competes in tournaments around New England. Players reside in Rangeley, Minot, Norridgewock, Augusta, and many towns in between.

The Wheelers play every Sunday at Togus Veterans Center in Augusta from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Anyone interested in shooting a few baskets or joining the team should contact Rob Marcia at 634-4749.
