SUMNER – Connie Lyn Cushing of Sumner is announcing the engagement of her daughter, Nicole Lyn Cushing of Sumner, to Matthew Dallis Starbird of Sumner, son of Ronald and Kathy Starbird of Lisbon.
Miss Cushing is a 2001 graduate of the University of Maine at Augusta with a degree in liberal arts. She is currently employed at U.S. Cellular as a retail wireless consultant.
Mr. Starbird graduated from the University of Maine at Augusta in 2002 with a degree in architecture. He is employed at Kaiser Industries as an engineer/CADD technician.
The wedding will be held on Aug. 15 in Sumner.
