AUBURN – South Lewiston’s Play It Again Sports beat Auburn Suburban’s Pepsi 5-2 in the Major Softball Division. Emily Cloutier and Hartley Grenier sparked the Playtimers. Bianca Langelier was the winning pitcher. Frankie Lally, Rebecca Whitten, Tianna Warriner and pitcher Mariah Mosher led the Pepsi offense.

In a Minor Softball Division contest, Armand’s Auto Body of South Lewiston defeated Pacios-Rausch of ASLL in a rain-shortened game. Meagan Mathon and Taylor Teixeira led the offense for Armand’s, while Erin Hubbard was a defensive standout. P-R received fine defense from Courtney Marquis, Correen Robert and Alexis Leclerc.

LEWISTON – Rowe Lewiston defeated Hannaford 5-2 in recent action in the Major Division. Cam Hart, Joe Sullivan and Alex Brochu combined for the pitching win, striking out 11.

Brochu whacked a double and triple, while Zach Parker banged 2 safeties, including a double.

Alex Chicoine and Peter Blais pitched well for the Grocers. Jacob Lajoie made a fine defensive play.
