LEEDS – Alivia Bradley and Kristy Buzzell both rapped 3 hits, one of Buzzell’s being a homer, as Leeds squeezed out a 12-10 decision over the Turner Blue Jays in the 12-Under Division. Kristen Capen added 2 safeties. Capen and Bradley combined for the win. Charlsie Monbleau went 4-4 for the Jays. Adding 2 hits each were Courtney Bryant and Katie Bowen, with Bowen clouting a round-tripper.

AUBURN – CarQuest Auto outslugged Tail Gators 27-14 Wednesday as Shon Collins and Dave Lapointe both homered and combined for 6 RBI. Dan Smith was the winning hurler. Roger Plourde belted a solo homer for the Gators.

Meineke Muffler edged K&K Excavation 14-12 as Gary Chapman, Ryan Wilson and Bob Sawyer all had clutch hits. Bill Jackson clouted 2 homers and knocked in 5 runs for K&K.
