CARTHAGE – Michael and Yvonne Melcher of Carthage are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Megean, to Daniel Eggert, son of Thomas and Brenda Eggert of Dixfield.
The future bride is a 1998 graduate of Dirigo High School and the University of Maine at Farmington in 2003 with a degree in elementary education. She is employed by SAD 21 at Canton Elementary School.
The future bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of Dirigo High School and is currently enrolled in the electro-mechanical degree program at Central Maine Community College. He is also enlisted in the Maine Army National Guard.
The wedding will be held at 11 a.m. on Oct. 16 at the Apostolic Church of Rumford.
