AUBURN – The wedding of Amy Patricia Pelletier and Douglas Clement Banks was held at 6 p.m. on March 13 in the glass rotunda at the Hilton Garden Inn River View Ballroom. The Rev. Richard Cullen, pastor of the Auburn United Methodist Church, officiated.

Mrs. Banks is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roger A. Pelletier of Lewiston. Mr. Banks is the son of Dennis Banks of Lewiston and Sarah Ann Bailey of Auburn.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white satin ball gown with full tulle skirt and crystal and pearl headpiece, which supported her Cathedral length veil. She carried a full bouquet of deep red roses with stems wrapped in velvet.

Vicky “Naunny” Gould, best friend, was matron of honor and bridesmaid was Karen Ann Bate Pelletier, sister-in-law and friend of the bride.

Serving as best man for his best friend was Paul Roth and usher was David Banks, brother of the bridegroom.

A reception followed at the Hilton Garden Inn.

The bride is employed for the Lewiston School Department as a secretary at Farwell Elementary School.

The bridegroom is employed as a metal fabricator at R.C. Specialty Fabrication in Lewiston.
