I am proud to support John Nutting in his campaign in the Democratic primary for the Maine Senate on June 8. He is running in Maine Senate District 17, which includes Minot, Leeds, Turner, Mechanic Falls, Wayne, Fayette, Lisbon, Lisbon Falls and Sabattus.
John has a wealth of experience in the Maine Legislature, having served for six years in both the Senate and the House of Representatives. His past service includes fighting for education, protecting the environment and working for economic development.
John is particularly concerned about property tax relief, an issue that has important consequences for people across the district. As a farmer, small business owner and parent, John knows firsthand the challenges faced by working families in Maine.
John has earned my support, and I hope others will support him as well.
