LITCHFIELD – Susan and David Poppish of Litchfield are announcing the engagement of their son, Luke Poppish, to Meredith Olson, daughter of Mary Sue and Michael D. Olson of Memphis, Tenn.
Mr. Poppish was born in Lewiston and attended Litchfield schools and Oak Hill High School in Wales. He attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Mass., graduating in 1998. He is currently employed as a mechanical engineer at Viasys Health Care in Wilmington, Mass.
Miss Olson was born in Charleston, S.C., attended schools in Florida and graduated in 1999 from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in community health education. She recently received her RN degree from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions and is working on her master’s degree in nursing to become a nurse practitioner. She will graduate in May of 2005.
Their wedding is planned for June 11, 2005, at the Cliff House in Ogunquit.
