LEWISTON – Harriet Irene Ferland, 57, of Allen Pond Road died Wednesday, June 2, at St. Mary’s Hospital surrounded by her family.

She was born in Lewiston, Dec. 1, 1946, daughter of Stanley and Phyllis Mott Anderson. She married Donald R. Ferland on Aug. 27, 1966 in Lewiston. Together they raised three children. She spent her life raising her family. In the early 1980’s she joined Turner Rescue and Greene Rescue as an EMT and dispatcher. She continued dispatching until her death. She enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, puzzle books, and watching television.

She leaves her husband of 37 years, Donald R. Ferland of Greene; daughter, Tina Hutchinson and husband, Scott of Lewiston; sons, Michael Ferland of Auburn and Donald J. Ferland of Greene; granddaughter, Kylie Ferland of Lewiston; grandson, Seth Hutchinson of Lewiston; sisters, Donna Conley Wing of Lewiston and Holly Asselin of Greene; two sister in laws, Mildred Anderson of Lewiston and Rachel Anderson of Lewiston and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Her parents, Stanley and Phyllis Anderson and three brothers, Carl, Carlton and Larry Anderson predeceased her.
