LEWISTON – Rose “Nana” Patrizio, 93, a former resident of Topsham and Durham, died late Thursday at St. Marguerite d’Youville Pavilion, where she had been a patient for the last two months.
She was born in Woodside, N.Y., Sept. 24, 1910, the daughter of Salvatore and Angelina Gerbino Carlozzo.
She married Arduino Patrizio, who died in 1986. Mrs. Patrizio was a homemaker all of her life. She enjoyed cooking and, most of all, the time she was able to spend with her five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. “Nana” was known for always having a smile for everyone.
Survivors include one daughter, Rosemarie Wunder of Durham and Florida; five grandchildren, Lorri Thayer and her husband Scott of Auburn, Debbie Lewis and her husband Dave of New Hampshire; Maj. Arthur Wunder, United States Air Force, and his wife Beth of Massachusetts; Michelle Fitzgerald and her husband Jimmy of Massashusetts, and Michael Wunder of Georgia.
