MEXICO – Selectmen will welcome new or returning members to the board, make annual board and committee appointments, and reorganize for another year when they meet on Wednesday.

The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. in the town office.

The board will also meet with SAD 43 Superintendent Jim Hodgkin to discuss the district’s operating budget for the coming year.

Other agenda items include a discussion on a possible reorganization of the Mexico Recreation Center, the Mexico Recreation Park and the Wellness Center. The Citizens Advisory Board will report on its many activities, including adopt-a-spot plans and a recently begun farmers market. The date for the annual appreciation night for municipal employees and volunteers will be set, and a summer schedule for selectmen’s meetings will be established.

Town Manager Joseph Derouche will discuss a revised town economic and marketing plan and a new economic development proposal. He will also report on general assistance for the month.

Road Commissioner David Errington will give an update on the town’s roads.
