JAY – Daily Vacation Bible School will take place at Jay Baptist Church from June 21 to 25, a week titled “Jesus Helps You Power Up.”

Bible stories, crafts, games, puppets and refreshments will take place each morning from 9 to 11:45 a.m. for ages 3 to 18.

On closing day at 11:45, there will be a cookout, then a closing program at 7 p.m.

Vacation school

LIVERMORE – Wayside Bible Baptist Church will host its Vacation Bible School on June 21 through 25. This year’s title is “Out of the Depths,” with an under-the-sea theme.

Pastor Daniel Corff announces registration will take place at 8:30 a.m. Monday, June 21, but new students may register any day at that time.

Each day will begin at 9 a.m. and end at noon.

Corff encourages any family who needs a ride to the church to call 897-2598.

The school will be held at the church, located on Route 4 just before the intersection of Route 108.

This year’s special speaker will be former pastor, Barry Beebe, president of the New Brunswick Bible Institute in Victoria Corner, N.B., Canada.

Truck pull

NORTH NEW PORTLAND – A 4×4 truck and ATV pull will be held on Saturday, June 26, at the North New Portland Fairgrounds.

Weigh-in for the ATV pull will be 8:30 a.m. with events to start at 10.

The truck weigh-in will be at noon with the pull to start at 1 p.m.

The gate fee is $5 a person; under 12, free. Registration fee is $15.
