SABATTUS – Michael and Linda Morrow of Sabattus happily announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Fontaine of Sabattus, to Jeffrey Ritz of Salinas, Calif., son of William and Kathleen Ritz of Salinas, Calif. Miss Fontaine is also the daughter of David Fontaine of Lisbon.

Miss Fontaine is a 1999 graduate of Oak Hill High School and a May graduate of the University of Maine at Orono, where she received a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She is currently seeking employment in the mental health field while preparing for graduate school.

Mr. Ritz is a 1997 graduate of North Salinas High School and a 2001 graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara, where he received a degree in history. He recently completed his master’s degree in history at the University of Maine at Orono in May. He is currently employed at Bob Lemieux Landscaping in Sabattus while pursuing his teaching certification.

The couple was engaged in October of 2003 and they are planning an intimate April 22 wedding at Kepaniwai Park in the island of Maui, Hawaii, with a local Maine reception following the honeymoon.
