WILTON – Edward Robert Tibbetts, 23, of Wilton, died Saturday, June 12.

He was born July 14, 1980, in Farmington, the son of Lori Adams and Edward Tibbetts Sr. He was educated in the schools of North New Portland and Farmington. He married Christy Gower on Aug. 27, 2000, in North New Portland. He worked for and had many close friends at North Atlantic Scaffolding Co. since 2002.

He enjoyed movies, playing basketball, camping, playing cards, watching wrestling, summer cookouts, football, swimming and taking long walks. His most precious time was spent with his four year old son, Daniel and his wife Christy whom he took care of first and foremost. He is loved and will be sadly missed. He left an impression in people’s lives that will last forever.

Survivors include his wife; his son, Daniel Tibbetts of Wilton; his mother, Lori Cousins and her companion Lionel Goodwin of Wilton; his father, “Sonny” and his wife Bonnie Tibbetts of North New Portland; his stepfather, Louis Cousins and his wife Mellissa of Farmington; his grandparents, Roland and Mariam Adams; grandmother, Joyce Conologue; two sisters, Tammy Boudin and Rose Cousins; three stepbrothers, David, Bobby and Billy; several aunts, unlces, nieces, newphews and cousins.
