SANFORD – Thomas “Pete” Godin, 84, a longtime resident of Lebanon, died Sunday, June 13, at Goodall Hospital following a brief illness.

He was born in Ft. Kent on June 8, 1920, the son of Louis and Delia (Long) Godin and was a U.S. Army veteran having served his country proudly in World War II and the Korean Conflict.

“Pete” had worked all of his life as a woodsman, crane operator, and a truck driver. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family. He will be missed by many.

He is survived by one brother, Norman and his wife Rose of Litchfield; one sister, Doris Savage and her husband Normand of Southington, Conn.; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
