LEWISTON – Edward and Constance Roy of Lewiston are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Ann Marie Roy of Litchfield, to Raymond Andre Mercier of Greene, son of the late Alphonse and Rosedelima Mercier of Lewiston.
Miss Roy is a graduate of the University of Maine and was employed at Sabattus Elementary School for 12 years. She is currently attending Northeast Technical Institute to pursue employment in health care.
Mr. Mercier attended Lewiston schools and is a former member of the 249th U.S. Army Combat Engineers stationed in Germany. He has been employed the past 22 years at Seltzer and Rydholm.
The wedding is planned for 2 p.m. on Aug. 28 at St. Leo’s Chapel in Litchfield.
