PORTLAND – The 32nd annual Maine Tennis Association Championships, one of the four major tournaments on the summer circuit, is scheduled for the weekend of July 10-11 at Waynflete School Sports Complex.

Competition will be held in men’s open singles and doubles, women’s open singles and doubles, as well as men’s singles 35-over, 45-over, and 55-over. Singles play will begin Saturday at 9:30 a.m.

LEWISTON – The team of Jim O’Donnell-Andy Gagne earned the title this week in the Wednesday night Lewiston Elks Pool League. Second was the team of Reggie Poussard-Ray Rancourt, followed by Ray Gagnon-Paul Pepin.
