PHILLIPS – Leola Kelley Gould, 75, of Phillips, died July 21, at her home, with her family at her side.

Born in Rome, July 22, 1928, a daughter of the late G. Irving and Agnes (Holt) Kelley, she was educated in the schools of Rome, Avon and Phillips.

On Sept. 4, 1948, she married Lester Gould, a son of the late Lester E. and Lillian (Presby) Gould in Phillips. Over the years, she worked for Forster Manufacturing Co. and Farmington Shoe. She enjoyed camping.

In addition to her husband of more than 55 years, she is survived by two sons, George E. Gould, of Phillips and Charles Gould and his wife, Kathy, of Phillips; eight daughters, Celia Riendeau and her husband, Robert, of Avon, Jane L.Gould, of Rome, Rachel Bachelder and her husband, Lloyd, of Rome, Gail Hinkley and her husband, Arthur, of Lawrence, Mass., Irvena Bachelder, of Jay, Agnes Ross and her husband, Bennett, of New Sharon, Leslie Bachelder and her husband, Glendon, of Phillips and Zelma Gould, of Phillips; a niece, Holly Kelley, of Jacksonville, Fla.; an uncle, Ivon T. Blaisdell, of Fallbrook, Calif.; 25 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren; and several cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Lawrence and Leslie Kelley; and a grandson, Robert Riendeau Jr.
