SOUTH PARIS – Agnes A. Dixon, 90, of South Paris died Saturday, July 24, at Market Square Health Care Center.

She was born Jan. 12, 1914, in Allston, Mass., the daughter of John F. and Catherine Donlan. She graduated from Saugus High School in 1932.

She married Harold J. Dixon on June 15, 1935. During the war she was a secretary at General Electric in Lynn, Mass. She was data processing manager for many years at Tower Press in Danvers, Mass.

She belonged to the Y.M.C. Retired Men’s and Women’s Club in Lynn, Mass., where she served on many committees.

She and her husband enjoyed square, line and round dancing in Peabody, Mass., and camping in Ossipee, N.H. at Westwood Shores. She will be remembered for her sense of humor.

She was a devout Catholic, attending church until she was unable to go anymore. She will be sadly missed by her friends and caregivers at Market Square Health Care Center.

She is survived by her husband of South Paris; a daughter, Teresa K. Carro and her husband, Charles, of South Paris; a son, Herbert E. Dixon of Denver, Colo.; five grandchildren, A. Paul Madden of Otisfield, Lori T. Swain and her husband Ruel Jr. of Bethel, Harold J. Madden of Oxford, Dierdre D. Pollard and her husband Jess of Camano Island, Wash., and Darin M. Dixon of Denver, Colo.; seven great-grandchildren, Jayna A. Milan-Bursey, Danyelle Swain, Christa, Jared, Amanda and Jessica Pollard, and Kristen Madden; her in-laws; and nieces and nephews.
