NORWAY – A Coffeehouse Open Mic will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, July 30, beginning with sign-up for performers at the First Universalist Church, 479 Main St.

Open mic begins around 7 p.m. Admission is $3 and refreshments are available. Performers of all ages are encouraged to bring and share their acoustic instruments, music, dance, comedy and poetry in a fun, supportive and relaxed atmosphere. There are vending opportunities for those artists with CDs or writing for sale. Now in its third year, the open mic nights are hosted by Maine performer and recording artist Heather Pierson at the historic downtown Norway church.
