BANGOR – Kristin L. “Ready” Lessard, 25, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, July 25, in Bangor, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Aug. 11, 1978, in Bangor, the daughter of John W. and Karen M. Moore Ready Jr.

Kristin graduated from Bucksport High School in 1996, where she excelled in athletics and was an honor student. In 2000, she graduated from St. Joseph’s College in Standish, where she was a member of the softball team and also on the Dean’s list.

In the last several years, she worked for the Community Health and Counseling Services of Bangor, where she loved working with children.

She is survived by her greatest love in her life, husband Patrick J. Lessard, of East Orland; her beloved parents, John and Karen Ready of Verona Island; two sisters, Jennifer D. Ready of Manchester, Conn., and Kara Staples and her husband, Brian, of Searsmont; one brother, Austin P. Ready of Verona Island; paternal grandmother, Adeline Ready of Detroit; maternal grandmother, Maureen Moore of Verona Island; mother-in-law, Susan Lessard of Hampden; father-in-law, Roger Lessard of Readfield; brother-in law, Mark Lessard and his wife, Melanie, of Ellsworth; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She will also be remembered by special friends, Lauren Jones, Tisha Eady, and Christy Morton. She loved her special cat Molly and dog Riggs.
