CHICAGO – Jacque Jones hit a go-ahead single in the 10th inning right after Chicago shortstop Jose Valentin dropped his foul popup with two outs, and the Minnesota Twins beat the White Sox 5-4 to complete a three-game series sweep.

This game turned on defense – particularly two plays the Twins made and one that the White Sox did not.
With the score at 4-all, Chicago put runners at first and third with one out in the ninth. Joe Borchard hit a hard grounder that third baseman Corey Koskie gloved, and second baseman Michael Cuddyer made a tough turn for an inning-ending double play.

Jason Frasor (4-3) pitched two innings for the win.
After New York starter Jon Lieber walked Wells with two outs in the eighth, left-hander Felix Heredia came in to face the left-handed Delgado, who doubled off the wall in right to tie the game at two.
