MECHANIC FALLS – Virginia Record Milton, of 1 Milton Lane, Mechanic Falls, died Saturday at her home following a long illness.

She was born in Portland, Maine, the daughter of Carlton J. and Bernice T. Record.

She married Robert W. Milton and they have made their home in Mechanic Falls for 44 years.

As a homemaker, she enjoyed reading and gardening.

In addition to her husband, she will be sadly missed by her son, Stanley, and his wife, Susan, of Andover; her daughter, Patricia, of Mechanic Falls and her fianc, Scott Hamilton; a granddaughter, Lori Chouinard, and her husband, David, and their children, Joshua and Hannah, of Turner; and a granddaughter, Jennifer, and her children, Brittany and Hunter, of Harrison.

She was predeceased by her son, John, in October, 2003.
