Steelers 38, Texans 3

Garcia led the much-improved offense, going 5-for-7 for 55 yards, including a 25-yard completion to Kellen Winslow Jr. on third and 13. The rookie tight end turned and leaped to make the tough catch before his head was driven into the turf.

One of the few bright spots for Detroit was running back Kevin Jones, who gained 29 yards on six carries.

Pennington completed his first 10 passes and threw for 169 yards and a TD before leaving in the second quarter, and the New York defense produced three first-half turnovers to lead the Jets past the Indianapolis Colts 31-7.
