AUBURN – Helen Grace Richardson Clough, 90, a resident of 440 Minot Ave., died Sunday afternoon, Aug. 22, at Clover Manor following a short illness.

She was born in Worcester, Vt., March 31, 1914, the daughter of Charles and Ella (Getchel) Richardson.

On April 25, 1941, she married Levi Edward Clough and he died Jan. 16, 1979. She had made her home with her daughter, Katherine and her son-in-law, George for the past 30 years.

She was a homemaker and loved cross word puzzles. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great and great great grandmother.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. George Katherine Spear, and Ms. Leona Chartier, both of Turner; one son, Homer Clough, of Auburn; two sisters, Ms. Nellie Cady, of Morrisville, Vt., and Ms. Ruth Pecor, of Barre, Vt., 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Her first husband, Guy Hersey predeceased her, also four brothers, one being her twin brother, three sisters, two grandsons, one granddaughter, and one great-great-granddaughter.
