AUBURN – Blueswoman Pauline York and her band will take to the stage Sunday, Sept. 26, at the Midnight Blues Club, 34 Court St. York jumped onto the Chicago music scene in 1997 and has since put her personal spin on American roots and blues music. She plays lead guitar and provides vocals for the Pauline York Band, which also includes Jim Billmeier on bass and Jeff Ruffin on drums.

York’s debut CD, “Blackberry Wine,” is a blend of folk-rock, blues and Cajun.

The performance is part of the club’s Sunday Night Blues Series.

Tickets to this show are $8. Doors will open at 5 p.m. for dinner and drinks; a ticket stub is good for $3 off any entree night of show. All shows run from 7 to 10 p.m. People should call for reservations, 783-9600.
