AUBURN – The YMCA of Auburn-Lewiston and the YWCA of Central Maine are preparing to kick-off the 2004-2005 Twin Cities Swim Team season. The TCST Sea Lions is a co-ed swim team for youngsters ages 6-18. Registration will begin at the scheduled Fall Parents Meeting slated for Tuesday, Sept. 28 at 6:30 p.m. at the YMCA on Turner Street, Auburn. The season begins Oct. 12.

Skating classes slated

AUBURN – The Auburn Parks and Recreation Department is planning skating instruction for ages 4 to adult.

Youngsters and adults alike will learn to skate from qualified instructors. The classes are slated for Fridays (except Nov. 26) from October 8 to December 17. Following is the format: beginner, 4:30-5:30 p.m.; advanced, 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Entry fee is $80. Helmets are mandatory for all beginner skaters.
