LEMPSTER, N.H. (AP) – A motorcycle rider fell off his bike and was run over by several other racers at the Jolly Roger Moto-Sports Park on Sunday, authorities said.

The accident occured shortly before 10:27 a.m., said Neal Collier, a dispatcher at Keene Mutual Aid.

The injured rider was airlifted to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, Collier said. He did not know the rider’s name.

Police in Lempster, Newton, and Troop C of the state police said no one had contacted them about the accident.

No one answered the telephone at the track Sunday afternoon. A recording said the day’s motocross races were scheduled to start at 8 a.m.
